Who we’re looking for
We are seeking an Operations Associate to support our inventory forecasting and procurement to ensure that we are optimally managing our cash as our business doubles and triples in size year on year.
The position is full-time in our Hong Kong office.
Responsibilities
Strategically optimize our supply chain and all costs associated with logistics to/from the end customer
Manage our inventory and packaging forecasting and procurement processes by preparing data, placing orders, etc.
Identify ways to cut costs and optimize lead times across various suppliers and service providers
Manage inbound logistics of products and returns from our factories to our 3PLs
Reconcile billings from suppliers and finding where they have over-charged us (and maybe even automating this)
Assist in pricing decisions for products
Interface with our 3PL (warehouse) and ensure that our processes for getting products into customers' hands are efficient
Who you are
A mature recent graduate or you have a few years of experience (we'll adapt the role to your seniority)
You have strong analytical skills (we prefer people who have studied engineering, economics, finance or a related field although if you have )
You are a self-starter and take initiative
You are coachable and dedicated to continuous personal improvement and professional growth
You are thorough and detail-oriented
You are tech literate and can learn new software with ease
You work well with others
