Insight Global REMOTE- Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI) in Homewood, Alabama
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to leading development efforts for the client’s new customer/ hospital applications. These applications will be utilized by customers and veterinarians on staff to schedule appointments, track patient updates/ changes, and overall related items to patient’s profiles. You will lead engineering efforts for these new applications, while heavily leveraging AI tools to efficiently build out these applications. You will play a vital role to the engineering efforts, QA, deployment, and continued enhancements. You will partner with the business and customer stakeholders to align engineering efforts to meet the requests of the business and build out the application architecture for future scaling. Additional tasks will include UI updates, infrastructure modifications as needed, and evaluating emerging AI tools to continue to assist/ speed up development.

Skills and Requirements
7-10 years experience in full stack software engineering
Well versed with React/ Typescript for front end development
Well versed in AI tooling for development (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Aider, etc.)
Strong Python and Fast API back end development skills
GraphQL and PostgresSQL/ MongoDB skills
Experience with NATS, Kafaka, or similar streaming/ messaging platform
Start up experience building greenfield applications- gathering requirements/ discovery through deployment and production
Strong software QA skills
Well versed in AWS and Kubernetes Golang skills
Playwright
Stripe API experience
