ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift in Homewood, Alabama

Maintenance Technician – $30 - $35 per hour

What will you be doing?

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Diagnose issues with motors, conveyors, PLCs, and control systems

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

  • Install, align, and calibrate machinery and equipment

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies

What do you bring?

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred

  • 3+ years of multi-craft maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (including 480V), motor controls, and PLC troubleshooting

  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and mechanical systems

  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
