TRIDENT SEAFOODS CORPORATION SALES CLERK I LFS in Homer, Alaska

Essential Functions

:

  • Greet customers as they enter the store, assist them in finding products, and provide information about merchandise.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sales (POS) system, handle cash, credit transactions, and manage returns and exchanges.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Restock shelves, arrange merchandise displays.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the overall customer experience.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week,year-round benefited position.

Transportation and housing are not provided.

Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High School or GED certificate
  • 6-12 months retail sales experience

Preferred education and experience:

  • Previous POS experience
  • Experience working in retail environment

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.The employeemustregularly lift/move objects up to 10 pounds,frequently up to 25 pounds,occasionally up to 50 pounds.
