Changing Tides Therapy Services is seeking a skilled and passionate Pediatric Registered Behavioral Technician to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our clinic, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families while enjoying a supportive and positive work environment.

RBT Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with assigned Board Certified Behavioral Analyst surrounding treatment provision.
  • Provide engaging and effective Applied Behavior Analysis therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and play-based interventions.
  • Work with assigned Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to regularly monitor and document a child's progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain family involvement in the therapy process, providing support, education, and guidance to extend therapeutic gains into daily routines.
  • Work closely with other therapists and professionals within the clinic and community to provide integrated care and collaborative, interdisciplinary support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of daily treatment sessions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pediatric Applied Behavior Analysis therapy through continuing education and training.

RBT Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • Wiling to obtain and maintain active State of Alaska license as a Registered Behavioral Technician
  • Adhere and comply with State of Alaska licensure requirements
  • Remain current on all required or requested trainings/certifications necessary for the position with Changing Tides Therapy Services
  • Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for Registered Behavioral Technician
  • Demonstrate efficiency in productivity requirements (i.e. chart notes, etc.)
  • Ability to utilize a fax machine, phone system, and other office materials as necessary for the position
  • Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails
  • Flexible availability, with schedule to be determined by owner or other designated manager
  • Demonstrate professionalism and respect in all interactions with clients and clinic staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to adjust treatment provision based on individual client needs and progress.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to understand and support the unique challenges children and their families may face.
  • Capacity to develop engaging and fun therapy sessions that motivate children to actively participate in their treatment.
