Welder/fabricator job in small town local shop. We service the agriculture community as well as bid on construction jobs so the variety of jobs we take on is vast. Farming equipment and industrial equipment repairs and modifications, structural steel installations, as well as all manner of smaller jobs; handrail, guard rail, stairs, parts fabrication, custom metal orders, trailer repairs and modifications, etc.
MIG wire feed welding experience is a must. Stick, TIG, aluminum and cast iron soldering experience would be a plus. Needs to be able to communicate well, show up on time, follow directions and produce a consistent, quality product. We also do mobile welding, so being able to communicate to and work with the public is a must as well as maintaining a drivers license and clean record. General knowledge of use and care of hand tools/power tools would be helpful i.e. power drills, grinders, torch, punches, drill press, pulleys, tie downs, etc.
