3 months verifiable experience required.
Manually Plant, sucker, string, pull weeds, pick, and pack tomatoes. Manual Weeding, hoeing, hand harvesting, and packing squash, pumpkins and gourds. Loading and stacking hay and straw bales. Manual weeding, hoeing, pulling male plants, harvesting, hanging, and shucking CBD & fiber hemp. Load and unload wagons of CBD hemp. Picking strawberries, sugar peas, hull peas, and sweet corn. Install, repair, and retrieve header and irrigation lines. Repair fence, use weed eater to mow weeds around fence and high tunnels. Assemble cardboard shipping containers. Clean and sweep packing areas. Assemble high tunnels. Pull plastic onto and off high tunnels. Sweep high tunnel floors. Pound in tomato stakes and pull out tomato stakes. Manually push up plastic to ventilate high tunnels. Load and unload delivery trucks. Load and unload farm trucks. Clean mud off squash washer. Stack pallets and fold used bins. Repair wooden bins. Stack, store, and unload full pallets in cold storage units. Sweep floors in equipment sheds. Cut and split firewood. Bag seeds from seed cleaner. Dispose rotten tomatoes and squash. Pull weeds in flower beds and mow yard around packing sheds. Sharpen pumpkin stem and hemp cutters. Workers who possess a valid drivers license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctors certificate as required by 29 CFR 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid drivers license or doctors certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the job contract Interview required - conducted at no cost to applicant, via phone or in-person. Employer will conduct interview as expeditiously as possible.
