2nd Shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm
Standard schedule includes 11 days on / 3 days off, with 12-hour shifts on weekends
Overtime and weekend work is required
Shift Differential
8-hour weekday: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr.
12-hour weekends: Day shift +$1.00/hr., Night shift +$1.50/hr.

Job Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems
Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments to minimize downtime
Work with 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits, PLC hardware, ladder logic, and motor controls (VFDs, soft starts)
Operate shop tools such as lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, and power saws as needed
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Adhere to safety protocols including PPE requirements and LOTO procedures
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (480v), and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting
Ability to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders
PLC troubleshooting experience preferred but not required
Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement

Our Toledo, Ohio fully integrated plant is the largest Clarios facility, opened in 1981. With more than 610 employees, we manufacture batteries used in automotive and marine applications. The plant operates six days per week and is actively involved in the local community, supporting organizations like United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Cherry Street Mission, and Ronald McDonald House.
