Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our team, primarily for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with a few opportunities on 1st shift. Candidates must possess strong mechanical skills and experience with PLCs and controls. Work hours are 2:30pm - 10:30pm for 2nd shift with a 10% premium, and 10:30pm - 6:30am (Sunday - Thursday) for 3rd shift with a 6% premium. The role involves mandatory work every other weekend and offers voluntary overtime during the week. This position is within a highly automated facility where you will utilize a laptop and communication devices to collaborate in a team setting.
Responsibilities
Engage in maintenance of production equipment to ensure continuous production.
Troubleshoot, execute regular preventive maintenance plans, and modify equipment as needed.
Provide technical assistance to operators and other departments regarding automated systems.
Perform routine maintenance checks, identify, and troubleshoot malfunctions on automated machinery and processes.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical components and systems.
Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production equipment.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, completed repairs, equipment issues, and replacement part usage.
Install new and automated systems and equipment, including wiring, configuring controllers, and setting up sensors.
Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper operation of production equipment.
Conduct daily checks of production equipment during up and downtime.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of machine repair experience on industrial equipment.
Strong experience repairing pneumatic systems.
Understanding of electrical systems, mechanical principles, pneumatic, and computer control systems.
Ability to diagnose and resolve simple to complex technical issues within automated systems.
Familiarity with mechanical components, including servo motors, actuators, AC motors, sensors, etc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, PLC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, blueprint, and schematic.

Work Environment
The facility is large, requiring substantial walking from building to building and across the plant. The department is a meticulously clean, temperature-controlled dry room, requiring garb and beard net if applicable. The environment is brightly lit and adheres to 5S3K principles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00/yr.
The company offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. They provide $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
