Summary:
In this role, you will m aintain a safe and productive work environment and follow all applicable regulations. You will train and develop staff for success in the company goals and for future opportunities. You will establish and maintain a solid working relationship with both internal departments as well as external resources. You will provide frequent feedback to employees, sharing expectations and enforcing accountability. You will collaborate with support areas to ensure Safety, Quality and Cost demands are met. You will also own the performance of the maintenance area in safety, quality, equipment care, efficiency, innovation, capability and productivity
Responsibilities:
Track KPIs, schedule/result and other relevant index, and manage resources (e.g. allocate the tasks to crew leads) to achieve the desired results
Record, manage, and escalate production issues and take proper measures to recurrence of issues
Monitor equipment maintenance and escalate issues as appropriate while managing the inventory
Manage attendance and work discipline
Train and coach employees
Directly solve or report the employee issues to upper leadership or collaborate with related department/team/part
Implement employee engagement activities (e.g. congratulate the promoted employee, etc.) and handle any conflict between employees
Share information with employees to ensure effective communication and understanding (e.g. Production plan/result, issue, President Message, Policy change, etc.)
Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe working environment
Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
3 to 6+ years of maintenance experience
1 to 3+ years of leadership experience
2 to 5+ years of experience in skilled trades field preferred
