Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Machinist to join our team from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. In this role, you will primarily focus on running the Grinding Machine, performing ID/OD Grinding on steel parts. Additionally, you will operate manual machines to modify parts and utilize CNC machines as needed. This position is located in a small shop that specializes in rebuilding polyurethane housing units.
Operate the Grinding Machine for ID/OD Grinding on steel parts.
Modify and rebuild parts using manual machining techniques.
Operate CNC machines as required.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
Essential Skills
Proven experience running an ID/OD Grinder on steel parts.
Manual machining experience for part rebuilding and fixing.
Ability to read blueprints and possess mechanical aptitude.
Basic operation knowledge of CNC machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with grinding and blueprint interpretation is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
