Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure and high-availability environments, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3 to join their dedicated team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Support Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

Pay Range: $48/hr on Experis W2 + Benefits (NO C2C)

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of critical mechanical systems including chillers, chilled water pumps, and computer-room air handlers (CRAH).

  • Follow established procedures such as the chiller method of procedure (MOP) and ensure system redundancy levels are maintained.

  • Utilize building management systems (EPMS) to monitor and optimize facility operations.

  • Adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA or NFPA 70E certifications, to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure continuous operation of critical infrastructure systems.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical fields such as electrical, controls, or data center environments.

  • Experience with building management systems (EPMS) and high-availability systems.

  • Required: OSHA or NFPA 70E Certification.

  • Preferred: EPA Refrigerant License.
