As our Quality Engineer you will be responsible for improving process capability while evaluating statistical data analysis and implementing corrective action to achieve plant key performance indicators. You will be issuing, maintaining, controlling, and auditing documentation required for Technical Transfers, Validations, Nonconformance Investigations and current good manufacturing process compliance.
Responsibilities:
Ensure site adheres to Quality Standards and conduct post launch product reviews
Manage process validation program for the site, create and execute quality protocols, analyze and report process capability to ensure cGMP compliance.
Investigate, report and document Product Non-conformances and conduct corrective and preventative investigations at the site
Responsible for understanding process control capabilities of site and driving continuous improvement projects
Documentation support through development and review of operational standard operating procedures
Investigate and report customer complaint trends for the site and ensure formula related complaints are fully investigated and documented.
Participate and support on Internal and external audits
Conduct training to site on process control, SOP’s and other required topics
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, Food Science or other related field
2+ years of manufacturing plant experience in a quality role
Experience in quality systems with practical knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and Risk Assessment tools
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Colgate Quality standards and Systems
Knowledge of 6 Sigma / Lean Manufacturing
Working understanding of SAP / Minitab
Understanding of cGMP and 21 CFR 210 & 211
Experience Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Experience conducting quality training and cGMP training
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
