Unilever Associate Director, Planning Operations – Wash & Care & Jefferson City in Hoboken, New Jersey
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Integrated Planning, Beauty & Wellbeing NA, this role leads a team of 5 planners across Capacity, Execution, and Materials Planning and plays a critical role in shaping planning and operations capabilities across the network.
The Associate Director, Planning Operations – Wash & Care & Jefferson City leads supply planning for the largest portfolio in Beauty & Wellbeing and site planning operations for Jefferson City, the network’s largest liquids manufacturing facility.
This role connects supply strategy, innovation, and execution—ensuring product availability, inventory discipline, and strong service performance. As the senior planning authority for Jefferson City, the Associate Director balances multi–business unit priorities, drives capacity and run strategy decisions, and represents Beauty & Wellbeing at the site level.

What You’ll Do
Wash & Care – Supply Planning Leadership
Act as supply planning lead for Innovation and Strategic initiatives, defining execution-ready plans for Capgemini
Provide strategic direction to Capgemini on run strategy, production priorities, materials utilization, and waste mitigation
Own inventory execution strategy, including safety stock decisions and inventory value performance
Lead constraint analysis and medium-term service enablement to protect customer service
Present network capacity, volume, and risk insights to senior leadership
Jefferson City – Site Operations Leadership
Own Rough Cut Capacity Planning across an 18-month horizon
Define and deploy site run strategies balancing service, growth, and efficiency
Serve as the final decision point on multi-BU planning tradeoffs
Lead transitions excellence to minimize material loss during portfolio changes
Advance digital material planning and Smart Touch adoption
Dispatch rate and material availability
Inventory health and model adherence
Transition material waste
Digital Material Planning and No-Touch MRP compliance
People Leadership
Lead and develop planners across Capacity, Execution, and Materials Planning
Drive accountability, insight quality, and decision speed
Build an inclusive, performance-driven culture
Key Performance Indicators

Inventory target attainment.

RCCP alignment and service risk mitigation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
8–10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning roles.
Proven people and stakeholder leadership in complex environments
Strong strategic and analytical capability.
Hands-on experience with SAP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar tools.
Demonstrated success leading change, transformation, and capability building.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $146,200 to $219,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
