Education & Knowledge
Degree/diploma in textiles/apparel manufacturing could be a plus
Technical Education in Textiles, Apparel Manufacturing, or Related Fields
Knowledge in garment components, production processes, andqualitystandards (Clothingqualityinspectors related knowledge)
Experience
5+ years in textile production/qualitycontrol
ApparelQualityControl / Inspector Background, Hands‑on fabric inspection experience (shade, defects, GSM, finishing):
Experience in Material‑Focused QA Roles (Fabric, Dyeing) is preferred
Supplierqualityengineering or supplier audit experience
Familiarity with T1–T2 sourcing processes and compliance requirements
Skills
Root cause analysis capability.
Strong inspection/reporting capability
Cross‑functional communication
Ability to enforce and elevate supplierqualitystandards
Ability to UseQualityTools & Structured Problem‑Solving Capability
Expectations:
understand material specifications, can identify fabric defects early, and can align T2 suppliers with brandqualityexpectations.
Involve supplier capability evaluation , process control , and continuous improvement of upstream manufacturing operations.
Evaluate fabric construction, yarn quality , dyeing techniques, and finishing processes at T2 suppliers
Familiarity with material ‑ specific inspection
Be confident to challenge, guide, and support material suppliers in compliance and sustainability expectations.
Initiate negotiation, follow‑ups, technical discussions, and alignment between T1 and T2 vendors.
