Description
This position lead Japan all manufacturing plant KJP/KJH/KJK/KJA.
Lead and manage continuous improvement of processes for Material Management and monitor process compliance with KPI based measures in all plant.
Escalate shortfalls and risk items in logistic and material execution.
Lead IOT initiatives from MM, automize reporting/ monitoring/ KPI – eliminate manual processes and substitute with traceable and electronic processes.
Lead logistics automation (IMR) to improve process efficiency or safety.
Support 0-0-0 activities for material organization.
Develop, improve and streamline process to ensure efficient and secure MM & LOG processes. Eliminate wasteful process steps, identify and implement best practice, including but not limited to EDI, SAP-PBI referencing, etc.
Local process standardization - define and uniform processes accordance with Global standard within MM departments in all plant.
Facilitate and active participate in Process Kaizen Events in plant and overseas if required, and drive logistics improvement to achieve competitive logistics efficiency.
EHS – Focus – reduce accidents, improve safety and conditions for employees interacting with Material handling functions.
Address reduction of 7 waste: Overproduction, Stock level, Inefficient Transportation, unnecessary motion, waiting times, reject and defects, inappropriate processing.
Coordinate and benchmark effort with Kautex and Industry peers
Lead Strategic logistics, realize competitive logistics concept like a logistics scheme, packaging accordance with business scheme or product specification in quotation phase.
Lead Indirect purchasing to ensure competitive price and monitor process compliance with internal requirement.
Team organization, build high efficient team and drive talent development for your team members.
Support SAP activities as required.
Support internal and external audits for MM organization
Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics,
5 year experience in Plant Logistics / Supply Chain Engineering
2 years Team leader or Manager experience required
Experience in Program Management, advanced MRP systems and Lean Production
Experience with SAP and process design end to end
Experience with PLM operating advantageous
English fluent, second & third Language advantageous
