Shifts Available:    Full-time, 8 Hour Shifts (2^nd^ and 3^rd^)

                                   

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality products. This role involves setting up machines, loading materials, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in meeting production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Setting up, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining various types of molding machinery, including Sand Blasters, Paint Booths, Rubber Extruders, Presses and Autoclaves.
  • Conducting routine inspection and monitoring output of finished product using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of production progress, machine settings and performance and quality concerns.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment; experience with rubber products and molding equipment preferred. 
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tooling.
  • Expertise in using precision measuring instruments and quality control methods.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and mentoring.

Compensation:

  • $23.62hr
