Job Description:
Evaluates and manages sleep disorders through diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Monitors patient adherence to prescribed treatment plans. Maintains proficiency in all domains of practice for sleep technologists. Complies with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and standards regarding safety and infection control. Performs database management tasks related to patient and treatment data. Adheres to sleep center policies related to quality assurance and clinical procedures. Provides professional and administrative direction, supervision, and accountability for all professional and clinical services. Reviews and evaluates medical equipment for safety and therapeutic effectiveness. Develops and implements long-range plans to ensure continued growth of the sleep center. Establishes working relationships with other healthcare providers. Maintains clinical practice in good standing with federal, state, and local regulatory and credentialing agencies. Adheres to regulatory requirements for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Competency with practice and clinical guidelines for Polysomnography/Sleep Disorders required by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. [Required]
• Documented proficiency for all competencies required by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists [Required]
• Knowledge and ability to stage, read and score studies [Required]
• Evaluation and management of sleep disorders [Required]
Education:
• Technical/Vocational School successful completion of an accredited psg educational program leading to a certificate from the board of registered polysomnographic technologists within one year of hire [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• Successful completion of an accredited PSG educational program leading to a certificate from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within one year of hire
Work Experience:
• 3+ experience in sleep technology profession [Required]
• 5+ experience in sleep technology [Preferred]
Additional Information:
• N/A
Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$64,536.91 - $120,041.82
