What we do:

The Logic Technology Development (LTD) organization delivers the latest process technology innovations to drive Intel's amazing product roadmap.

What you will be considered for:

LTD Semiconductor Senior Process Integration Development Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures but not limited to:

  • Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures.

  • Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.

  • Participate in the development of intellectual property.

  • Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.

  • Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly Methodology.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education : The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) field of study.

Experience :

  • Semiconductor processing, Semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology such as Design of experiments, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Computational Data Skills

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem

  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based applications and services

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, scaling, and service management

  • Strong experience using GitHub for source control, collaboration, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews

  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes

  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API development

  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker

  • Experience with automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices

  • Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and application security

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance and reliability

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional development teams

  • Understanding of modern semiconductor manufacturing processes

  • Working knowledge of how modern lithography equipment operates, including the automation systems used to control it

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in: Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS), Factory Engineering Equipment experience in a fabrication environment, and Product Lifecycle and Mechanical Design.

  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting products.

  • Experience with theoretical and practical aspects of Project Management and project management techniques/tools.

  • Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

  • Experience with providing statistical analysis, and experience in gauge study analytics.

  • Experience with data analytical/statistical tools such as: JMP or Excel/Pivot Tables.

  • Experience with factory business acumen demonstrated through working successfully with customers.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $173,660.00-245,160.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
