Jacobs Dock Logistics Coordinator in Hillsboro, Oregon

  • Ensuring Move-in and Move-out (MIMO) schedules and all associated activities are proactively communicated, coordinated, and safely executed per site-specific work control procedures and industry standards.

  • Lead collaboration efforts and integration support between logistics, construction, and manufacturing business units i.e. base build, progressive build, sustaining factory.

  • Lead equipment (tool) move-in/out coordination with direct supervision of all Move-in/out (MIMO) activities happening on docks, elevators and wipe down vestibules.

  • Participate in move-in and move-out (MIMO) coordination meetings to help drive MIMO schedules with construction business units, rigging contractor and architectural contractor.

  • Supervise docks to ensure they remain clear of obstructions, debris, excess equipment, staged materials, etc. that could impact scheduled dock activities.

  • Promote safe and quality Move In/Out (MIMO) of tools, pedestals, and components from all site facilities without any interruption to the factory (Fab) production.

  • Remove roadblocks and promptly escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate parties for resolution.

  • Assist in micro day-of scheduling trucks, trades and personnel needing dock time (not captured on MIMO schedule).

  • Adheres to daily project coverage plan, with appropriate site arrival and departures times to support construction activities.

  • Support freight elevator operation to ensure maximum utilization, lead impact, and facility recovery efforts in the event of malfunction.

  • Daily scheduling of drop box hauls, relocation, and adjustments to support program needs.

  • Experience working directly with trades contractors and providing field coordination to meet client milestone dates.

  • Experience working in client facing roles, managing client expectations and needs.

  • Comfortable working in cross-matrix organizations comprised of client management, factory management, trade contractors, vendors and 3rd party representatives.

  • Four-year degree, or 4+ years’ experience in dock/logistics, or a combination of both.

  • Construction / semiconductor experience preferred.
