Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) to operate, maintain, and repair ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems in a food-production environment. This role supports efficient freezing, storage, and plant cooling operations while ensuring safety, quality, and uptime.
Location Hilliard, OH
Pay: $35.00/hr
Shift: 2nd 6 PM to 4 AM, Monday-Thursday

Duties:
Operate & maintain ammonia/nitrogen refrigeration systems, blast freezers, condensers, and chilled water systems
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & mechanical/electrical repairs
Monitor gauges, logs & system data for performance
Follow GMP, safety procedures & maintain clean work areas
Read manuals/blueprints; order parts; support other maintenance techs as needed

Position Requirements:
1-3 years of hands-on industrial ammonia refrigeration experience
Experience with vacuum systems, screw compressors, storage/freezer systems
Nitrogen flash freezer experience preferred
Electrical, pipe fitting, pneumatics & hydraulics experience helpful
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
