Equifax, Inc Data Analytics and Wrangling in HILLIARD, Ohio

Data Analytics and Wrangling for Equifax Inc. in Hilliard, OH, to ensure proper use of Equifax data assets by working closely with data governance and compliance professionals. Develop strategies, standards and best practices in the areas of data wrangling, data visualization and data integration and lead adoption throughout analytical platforms. Work in Data and Analytics to independently design projects to meet business needs. Use analytical insights to develop solutions, improve processes and work with counterparts in the business to implement proposed solutions. Understand ingestion prioritizations, analyze, understand and prepare complex and new data sources and incorporate them into project design. Act as a domain and/or technical lead to more junior members. Ability to talk to impact and strategic importance of findings on the business (either Equifax or external customer) and recommend appropriate course of action. Ability to advocate to implementation of solutions and improved processes as well as share the qualitative and quantitative elements to drive value and share the "so what' out of the analysis being performed. Leverage advanced techniques to create code that is optimized, efficient, repeatable and scalable. Solve complex internal or customer analytical problems across various business domains and areas of expertise.

 

Requires: Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a Data Analytics & Wrangling or related occupation in data analytics, Big Data management, or data manipulation and visualization or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Data Analytics & Wrangling or related occupation in data analytics, Big Data management, or data manipulation and visualization. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Data identification, gathering, transformation, and analysis across database platforms (SQL and Python); Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure; Source code control management systems such as Git; Visualization software (Tableau, Data Studio, or similar BI tools); and Statistical analysis and methodology (including: Hypothesis testing, Regression analysis, Time series analysis, A/B testing, Statistical modeling, Data mining techniques, and understanding of statistical distributions).
