Job Title: Lead Automotive Technician (ASE Certified)

Location: Hilliard, Ohio

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong diagnostic abilities, leadership skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. As a Lead Technician, you will oversee daily shop operations, mentor junior technicians, and ensure efficient, accurate vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Lead and support a team of technicians to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
• Review and verify repair orders for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair needs and timelines
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Assist in training and mentoring entry-level technicians
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• ASE Certification (Master Technician preferred)
• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with shop management or workflow coordination
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and modern vehicle systems
• OEM certifications are a plus
