BRS Backyard Bug Busters, Highland Lakes, NJ. Daily transportation provided b/w main location & worksites in the following counties: Bergen, Essex, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union (NJ); Orange, Rockland (NY); & areas of Kiryas Joel-Poughkeepsie-Newburgh, NY, NY-Newark-Jersey City NY-NJ.
4 Landscape Laborer positions available. Temp FT position from 4/1/26 to 10/20/26, M-F 6:30am-5:00pm, 40+ hrs/wk. Schedule/shifts, possible wkend/holiday wrk, downtime/OT may vary. Wage paid Wkly at $ 26.66/hr to poss $29.50/hr; OT $39.99/hr to poss $ 44.25/hr DOE. Raise/bonus/advances at employers discretion.
JobDuties: Under supervsn, fill & mix sprayer tanks w/water & chemicals based on formulas. Choose nozzles, & move hoses to operate equipment. Spray insect treatment, fertilizer/weed control over areas using standard procedures. Engage customers w/ specific instructions for their location. Use provided tools & software to get to scheduled jobs, keep accurate records of treatments & communicate w/ office staff. Aerate & seed lawns. Drive/operate vehicles & powered equip like wrk trucks w/small utility trailers, power spraying equip, ride on/walk behind aerators, fertilizer, or seed spreaders. Remove litter/debris. Clean vehicle & equipment & other related activities as per SOC/OES 37-3012 (onetonline.org).
Must be 18 & show proof of legal authority to work in the US. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone & able to lift 50lbs among other physical activities. Must have 12 months driving experience. On-the-job training available. No min ed requirement. Must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period specified & work throughout all areas of intended employment. Possible post-hire background check & random drug/alcohol testing during employment paid at employers expense. Positive test/refusal to abide is grounds for dismissal.
Single workwk used to compute wages due. All deductions required by law & those authorized by worker made from workers paycheck. Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State and local employment-related laws and regulations such as wages, breaks, hrs worked, and overtime hrs (paid at 1.5x regular rate beyond 40 hrs/wk). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies & equipment req to perform the job. If worker completes 50 percent of work contract period, employer will pay directly &/or reimburse worker for initial transportation & subsistence costs from place of recruitment to place of employment for those traveling from such a distance reasonably unable to return daily to their residence.
Upon completion of contract or where worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide/pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to where worker originally departed to work, except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer. Amount of transportation payment/reimbursement equal to most economical & reasonable common carrier for distances involved.
Daily subsistence provided at a rate of $ 16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68.00/day w/ receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workwk for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Workers will be offered total # of work hrs equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays of each 12-wk pd. Any worker who voluntarily abandons employment is not entitled to payment for the full 3/4s Guarantee.
