Data Architect
The Data Architect is responsible leading the design, implementation, and evolution of our enterprise data architecture. This role plays a strategic role in ensuring the Park Place data ecosystem supports current and future business objectives, enabling advanced analytics, operational efficiency, and scalability.
What you’ll be doing:
Design and implement enterprise data architecture and canonical data models
Define data ownership, governance rules, and data quality standards
Analyze and stabilize data pipelines and cross‑platform data propagation
Perform hands‑on SQL analysis and data reconciliation across enterprise systems
Implement data validation, monitoring, and data quality frameworks
Improve data observability, lineage tracking, and governance processes
Leverage AI‑driven analytics and automation to identify anomalies and accelerate analysis
Partner with engineering teams to align data architecture with platform and integration services
What we’re looking for:
Enterprise data architecture and data modeling
Advanced SQL and data analysis
Azure data platform services
Azure Data Factory
Azure SQL / Synapse
Event‑driven and distributed data systems
Data governance and data quality frameworks
Experience with AI‑assisted analytics or automation tools
Hands‑On Expectation
Direct analysis of production data using SQL and analytics tools
Design and implementation of canonical data models
Diagnosis and resolution of data integrity issues
Close collaboration with engineers to implement architectural improvements
Education:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
