Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator
Job Description
As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion machines according to production specifications. Your role will involve ensuring the highest quality of finished products while maintaining efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines in accordance with production specifications.
Load raw plastic materials into extrusion equipment.
Adjust machine settings, including temperature, speed, and pressure, to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, and defects.
Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of extrusion equipment.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
Assist with changeovers, material handling, and other production tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience with extrusion machines.
Proficiency in machine operating.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
At least 2 years of previous machine operating experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to make minor repairs to machines.
Proficiency in using a tape measure.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hickory, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
