Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team in . In this essential role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations, with a strong focus on early intervention and school-based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.

  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.

  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions using best-practice methodologies.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and continuity of services.

  • Track and evaluate patient progress; adjust treatment strategies to Amergisize outcomes.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress notes in accordance with professional standards.

  • Educate families and caregivers on at-home strategies to support ongoing speech and language development.

Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.

  • CCC-SLP preferred (and may be required depending on state or contract).

  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings or early intervention programs.

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to communication and swallowing disorders.

  • Proven ability to conduct detailed assessments and create effective treatment plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Familiarity with developmental milestones and early intervention practices is highly preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases efficiently.

  • Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD/chest X-ray, and Health Certificate (if required by contract or state).

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
