Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Clinical Program Manager to lead the Vascular Ultrasound Lab, one of the most established and respected vascular diagnostic programs in the region. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly specialized team within an academic Level I Trauma Center known for clinical innovation, research, and breakthrough medicine.
For more than three decades, the Vascular Ultrasound Lab has been a recognized leader in advanced vascular diagnostics. The program earned Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) accreditation in 1993 and has maintained this distinction continuously for over 30 years, recently receiving the IAC Gold Milestone Award recognizing its long-standing commitment to excellence in vascular testing. This legacy reflects the program’s dedication to clinical quality, patient-centered care, and advancing vascular ultrasound practice.
The Clinical Program Manager partners closely with the Clinical Program leadership team to ensure excellence in quality and regulatory compliance, patient experience, program growth, team development, and operational performance. The role supports a culture centered on evidence-based care, continuous improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring patients receive the highest level of vascular diagnostic care.
This leader will guide a high-performing team of vascular ultrasound professionals, with a strong emphasis on expertise among Registered Vascular Technologists (RVT) and other advanced credentialed sonographers. The program values professional development, technical excellence, and collaborative practice across vascular surgery, cardiology, and interventional specialties.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading quality and regulatory compliance initiatives, including maintaining IAC accreditation standards and advancing program excellence
Promoting evidence-based vascular imaging practices that optimize patient outcomes and diagnostic accuracy
Monitoring and improving clinical, operational, and financial performance metrics
Supporting team development, leadership growth, and employee engagement within a collaborative environment
Enhancing patient and family-centered care, patient satisfaction, and service excellence
Partnering with physicians, vascular specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen program growth and innovation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of experience in the respective clinical modality required.
License or certification applicable to specific program/clinical modality (RVT, RT(R), RN, RT, RCIS, RDMS, CVT, etc.) required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health Care, Nursing, Health Sciences, Health Care Administration preferred or equivalent knowledge.
One to two years of leadership experience preferred with emphasis on coordination of services, staff development, supervision, and financial accountability.
