Aerotek 1st Shift Maintenance Technician in Hernando, Mississippi
Aerotek is hiring a 1st shift maintenance technician for a manufacturing company located in Hernando, MS. This role is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity paying $25-$35/hr. Hours Monday-Friday 630am-3pm, plus overtime as needed. If interested and qualified, please apply for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities
Maintain high-speed production lines, including rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, motors, drives, and conveyors.
Troubleshoot and edit PLCs (Siemens, RS Logics, etc.), HMIs, and control networks (RS Logix, RS View).
Operate production line equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, coders, and palletizers.
Utilize knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
Apply excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Follow MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, and OSHA requirements.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
Capability to perform preventive maintenance and repair.
Knowledge in 3-phase electrical systems.
Work Environment
The work environment is non-temperature controlled, requiring adaptability to varying conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hernando, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
