Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Loan Closer to join our team in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. In this contract position with the potential for a permanent role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completion of loan documentation while adhering to industry standards and regulations. This opportunity offers weekday hours in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough audits of saleable and portfolio loans post-closing to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Review and index title policies, recorded mortgages, and other trailing documents to ensure proper documentation.
• Track and follow up on missing or outstanding loan documentation, resolving issues promptly.
• Upload finalized loan documents into loan origination systems and bank imaging platforms.
• Handle the transfer of collateral to investors or secure storage in bank vaults as needed.
• Maintain detailed daily tracking of outstanding items and escalate unresolved issues exceeding 90 days.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable bank policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in mortgage closing or loan origination processes.
• Proficiency in using loan processing systems, such as Encompass.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with mortgage documentation and regulatory compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience in tracking and auditing loan documentation is preferred.
