IBM X-Force Threat Intelligence team is looking for a Senior DevSecOps engineer to support intelligence operations at scale that would combine aspects of software development, development operations, and/or cyber threat intelligence analysis. The individual will work across the IBM Cyber Security Services product and services team to develop and integrate custom internal security tools. The individual will work in an agile, collaborative environment across the entire software architecture, addressing both technology and infrastructure concerns.

Candidates should demonstrate background in computer science or engineering and an interest in software development and design. Candidates must be able to work on a remote team in a driven environment and exhibit creative thinking and collaboration. Your role and responsibilities

As a Threat Intelligence Consultant specializing in Collections Analysis, you will execute collections using well-defined strategies and within the priorities set by the collection management process. You will maintain a keen awareness of the evolving threat landscape by developing and implementing cyber indicators. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Cyber Indicators: Develop and implement cyber indicators to maintain awareness of the evolving threat landscape, ensuring the organization remains informed and prepared for potential cyber threats. • Collect and Analyze Threat Data: Collect, process, analyze, and share cyber threat/warning assessments to inform the organization of potential cyber threats. • Execute Collection Strategies: Execute collections using well-defined strategies and within the priorities set by the collection management process. • Share Threat Assessments: Share cyber threat/warning assessments with stakeholders to ensure the organization remains informed and prepared for potential cyber threats. • Maintain Threat Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of the evolving threat landscape to inform collection strategies and threat assessments.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Threat Landscape Awareness: Experience with developing and implementing cyber indicators to maintain awareness of evolving threat landscapes, ensuring organizations remain informed and prepared for potential cyber threats. • Threat Data Analysis: Experience in collecting, processing, analyzing, and sharing cyber threat/warning assessments to inform stakeholders of potential cyber threats. • Collection Strategy Execution: Experience with executing collections using well-defined strategies and within priorities set by collection management processes. • Cyber Indicator Development: Experience in developing and implementing cyber indicators to support threat awareness and collection strategies. • Threat Assessment Sharing: Experience with sharing cyber threat/warning assessments with stakeholders to ensure organizational preparedness for potential cyber threats.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Advanced Threat Analysis: Experience with analyzing complex cyber threats to develop effective collection strategies and threat assessments. • Cyber Indicator Optimization: Experience in optimizing cyber indicators to improve threat detection and warning capabilities. • Threat Intelligence Tools: Experience with utilizing specialized tools and systems to collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence.
