Your role and responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant specializing in Technology Expert Labs for Infrastructure Automation, you will provide clients with world-class services to optimize the configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis of their Infrastructure Automation products. You will work with clients to deliver solutions that meet their specific needs and requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Deliver Infrastructure Automation Solutions: Provide clients with expert services to optimize the configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis of their Infrastructure Automation products
Implement Product Configurations: Apply knowledge of Infrastructure Automation products to configure and deploy solutions that meet client requirements and needs.
Analyze Client Environments: Perform analysis of client environments to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement of their Infrastructure Automation products.
Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and deliver solutions that meet those needs.
Support Solution Adoption: Assist clients in adopting and using Infrastructure Automation products, including providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting issues.
Required technical and professional expertise
Experience working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy or support role
The ability to use Time Sharing Option/Extension (TSO) and Interactive System Productivity Facility) ISPF
JCL skills - using ISPF editors to create, modify, and submit batch jobs to the z/OS system, focusing on data management, program execution, and troubleshooting, Batch Job Management, Job Control Language Programming, or Mainframe Batch Processing Skills
Ability to write REXX and Working Knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
z/OS Automation Migration
Preferred technical and professional experience
Knowledge of other Z software, including the system operation, configuration and automation, z/OS system startup and shutdown, SMP/E.
Knowledge of the products that compete against the IBM products listed previously.
Knowledge with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z.
