Job Title: Installer

Job Description

As an Installer, you will be responsible for preparing, installing, assembling, and maintaining various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements.

  • Install and set up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems.

  • Assemble and integrate components according to provided instructions and technical drawings.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment as needed to address issues or prevent malfunctions.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for oneself and others.

  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience as an equipment installer.

  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.

  • Ability to use hand and power tools for assembly and installation.

  • Attention to detail and precision in equipment setup.

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in equipment installation may be required.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with sheet metal and blueprints.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Henrico, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
