We serve customers across Data Centers, Utilities & Energy, Industry, Buildings, and Healthcare by providing installation, commissioning, warranty support, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spare parts supply, equipment life extension, modernization, and end‑of‑life services.

What you'll do :
Do you have a completed technical education (MBO / HBO / WO) and are you ready to turn theory into practice?
We are looking for 5 motivated technicians/engineers to join our Field Service Engineer Graduate Program a structured 3‑year development program designed to launch your career as a Field Service Engineer, starting July/September 2026 .
From day one, you will learn on the job, working alongside experienced professionals and experts while delivering solutions to our customers’ power and energy challenges. Throughout the program, you will build strong technical knowledge and practical experience across Eaton’s power systems and services through a structured training and development curriculum.
Location : 1st year- Hengelo, NL ; Year 2&3 Remore with frequent travel to customers acros the Netherlands.
Program structure
Year 1
Participation in EMEA‑wide training sessions and knowledge‑sharing initiatives
Extensive technical training on Eaton’s electrical product portfolio and core safety procedures
Gaining insight into processes, back‑office activities, and ways of working
Year 2
Learning on the job with a focus on a specific product line
Building in‑depth technical expertise through structured shadowing and hands‑on experience
Year 3
Working independently as a trainee Field Service Engineer at customer and end‑user sites
Contributing across all stages of the power system lifecycle, including installation and commissioning, preventive maintenance, fault diagnostics, testing, modification, repair and replacement of electrical components, and end‑of‑life services
What you’ll develop during the program
A strong foundation in safety standards and protocols
Hands‑on training on electrical products and systems
Experience in low‑, medium‑, and high‑voltage environments
Understanding of commercial impact, customer needs, and service excellence
Qualifications:
Recently graduated or about to graduate (in 2026) with a technical degree (MBO / HBO / WO) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar)
Basic knowledge of electrical power systems.
Skills:
Fluent English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
Legal eligibility to work in the Netherlands
Dutch language skills will be a plus
European driving licence is an advantage
Strong willingness to learn

Willingness to travel within the assigned location/region
Willingness to (temporarily) relocate within the region
