What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
Help to deter unauthorized access, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations by monitoring activity, checking credentials when required, and reporting unusual behavior or conditions.
Support daily operations by assisting with access control, directing visitors, and communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns and/or urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.
Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
