Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Supervisor of Facilities Services, you will provide essential leadership and dedicated oversight, maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-managed environment crucial to our organization's seamless operation.
Every day you will expertly manage daily maintenance, oversee custodial operations, coordinate external vendors, and meticulously ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, guiding your team to uphold high service delivery.
To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive, hands-on demeanor, contributing significantly to a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe operational setting.
Oversees and performs major and minor maintenance repairs and inspections.
Provides support to the director and or manager of facilities in the performance of her/his job duties.
Ensures employees and contractors are performing their work (e.g., preventative maintenance) in a safe manner and in accordance with proper procedures when working in patient care areas or on patient related equipment or in other non-patient care areas.
Keeps knowledge and ensures compliance on rules, regulations, licensure, accreditation and laws applicable to hospital and department operations including all infection control procedures.
Job Requirements
Required:
High School Graduate or
High School GED and
Minimum of two (2) years experience in plant operations/facilities or related field.
