Job Title: Lead Fence Installer

Job Description

The Lead Fence Installer oversees the safe and efficient installation of temporary fencing at various project sites. This role includes driving from the yard to job locations, leading on-site installation activities, and guiding team members to ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles from the yard to assigned project sites in a safe and timely manner.

  • Lead the on-site installation of temporary fencing according to project plans and specifications.

  • Organize and direct daily tasks for the installation crew to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Use hand tools and construction equipment to install, secure, and adjust fencing as required.

  • Inspect installed fencing to confirm stability, safety, and adherence to project requirements.

  • Coordinate with team members to load, unload, and stage materials and equipment at each site.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at the yard and on project sites.

  • Follow all safety procedures and promote safe work practices among crew members.

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

  • Assist with general labor tasks related to fence installation and site preparation as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in fence installation, with the ability to lead installations independently.

  • Hands-on construction experience, including working with a variety of hand tools.

  • Demonstrated lead or supervisory experience on construction or installation projects.

  • Strong driving skills and ability to travel between the yard and multiple project sites.

  • Ability to read and follow project specifications and instructions.

  • Physical ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors for extended periods.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to meet project schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading small teams in a construction or general labor environment.

  • Familiarity with temporary fencing systems and related construction materials.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively direct crew members and coordinate tasks.

  • Attention to detail to ensure all fencing is installed safely and securely.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety guidelines.

Work Environment

The yard is based in Henderson, with work performed primarily outdoors at various project sites. You will work with hand tools and construction equipment in a physically active role that involves standing, lifting, and working in changing weather conditions. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with occasional Saturdays that are rare. The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and efficient project completion.

This is a Permanent position based out of Henderson, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
