Job Summary and Responsibilities
Dignity Health Nevada is looking for an Internal Medicine Residency Program Director to join our team!
Administers and operates the internal medicine residency program, including teaching, scholarly activity, resident education and selection and evaluation and promotion of residents,
Supervises residents, faculty and office support personnel
Administers and maintains a learning environment conducive to educating the residents in each of the ACGME Competency domains
Directs recruitment of residents, faculty, chief residents, and staff
Develops of policies and procedures that guide and support the Internal medicine program
Coordinates with faculty for residency rotations
Monitors residents for stress, sleep deprivation, excessive fatigue or other performance inhibiting conditions
Ensures compliance with rules and regulations mandated by the ACGME
Provides clinical care for internal medicine patients in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in graduate medical education, preferably minimum of three (3) years of experience in graduate medical education leadership as associate program director, track director, etc.
Evidence of academic scholarship, including publications, regional and national presentations, curriculum development and dissemination, etc.
MD/DO licensure
Successful completion of ACGME/AOA accredited Internal Medicine residency training program
Active ABIM certification
Currently licensed by Nevada Medical Board or the ability to obtain a Nevada medical license
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican hospitals
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to travel as needed between clinical training sites

$330,366.40 - $445,120.00 /year
