Job Description:
Assess clients cognitive abilities and physical and emotional needs to determine appropriate interventions. Implement behavioral management and care plans for individuals with variety of developmental, intellectual and physical disabilities. Interview individuals & family members to compile information on backgrounds, needs, educational, health history, progress. Oversee day-to-day group activities of clients in institution. Consult with supervisor concerning programs for individual families. Teach life skills or strategies to clients or their families. Write reports or evaluations. Help clients get needed services or resources. Explain regulations, policies, or procedures. Monitor nutrition related activities of individuals or groups. Requirements: Bachelor Degree in human services, public health, medical biochemistry, social work + 1 yr. of work experience.
