Job Title: Principal Software Engineer
Location: Helsinki, Finland
Reports to: Software Engineering Group Director
Job Overview:
The Circuit Simulation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining software, designed to perform analog and RF circuit simulation.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge problems in analog and mixed-signal design automation at advanced process nodes.
Job Responsibilities:
Research, design, and validate algorithms for circuit simulation.
Build robust, scalable and maintainable implementations and integrate with production toolchains.
Collaborate across engineering and cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative, production‑grade solutions.
Support team objectives through open communication and co-operation.
Experience on parallel computing and/or GPU utilization as well as knowledge on circuit simulation (e.g., Spectre, HSpice, APLAC) is a strong plus.
Job Qualifications:
MSc/PhD in electrical engineering, applied mathematics/physics, computer science, or similar.
5+ years of work experience on numerical analysis on some related field (circuit, EM, thermal, fluid, photonics, quantum).
Experience on algorithms related to e.g., sparse matrix solvers, iteration, optimization etc.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming on Win and/or Linux environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
