As an Special Education Adult Transition Program (ATP) Teacher, you will work as part of a team that serves over 7,5000 students at 18 campuses across Helena. This position serves a 187-day contract. Starting base salary range is $52,275- - $70,833 based on education and verifiable experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan including but not limited to sick and personal leave, health benefit plan with options for dental and vision coverage, life insurance, a section 125 plan, numerous tax-sheltered annuity options and tuition reimbursement. Long term disability, short term disability and long-term care insurance is also available.

    Some of what you will do:

  • Teach district approved curriculum.

  • Develop lesson plans and instructional material.

  • Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

    Who we are looking for:

    To become part of this dedicated team, you must have a Montana teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.

    The ideal candidate will possess multiple endorsement areas, and at least a year of successful teaching experience in Special Education.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
