About the Role

The purpose of this position isto lead a large portfolio or client account and provide senior technical andoperational support to the account staff for the development of policies andprocedures pertaining to all types of buildings handled by CBRE: includingperformance of mechanical and maintenance staff/systems and maintainingcontinuity throughout to provide overall quality control for all properties.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible forbusiness unit's financial performance in an account.

  • Providesrecommendations for tactical and strategic planning.

  • Assists inacquisition underwriting and due diligence.

  • Responsible for newbusiness development, including identification of opportunities, clientsolicitation, proposal development, and presentation. Anticipates and respondsto client's needs.

  • Leads the planning,budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.

  • Oversees andapproves the calculation of all special billings.

  • Handles thepreparation of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performancereports, and variance reports.

  • Ensures the deliveryof accuracy, timely, and complete reports. Performs regular inspections ofproperties.

  • Recommends anddirects alterations, maintenance and reconditioning of properties as needed.

  • Other duties asassigned.

  • Handles theplanning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department.

  • May be responsiblefor a mix of direct and matrix reports.

  • Approvessubordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion,advancement, corrective action and termination.

  • Effectivelyrecommends same for direct reports to next level management for review andapproval.

  • Monitors appropriatestaffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources.

  • Leads and supportsstaff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching,mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention.

  • Models behaviorsthat are consistent with the company's values.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree(BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight years ofrelated experience and/or training.

  • Master's degree(MA/MS) preferred.

  • Previous supervisoryexperience required.

  • Professionaldesignation such as CPM, RPA, or CCIM preferred.

  • Active real estateand/or Professional Engineer (PE) license may be required.

  • Requires in-depthknowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Review and analyzecomplex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates todevelope innovative solutions.

  • Develops andimplements financial policies and procedures.

  • Approves andoversees department budget.

  • Requires top levelanalytical and quantitative skills with validated skills in developingstrategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry salesenvironment.

  • Draws upon theanalysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on thecompany.

  • Ability to use workorder system.

  • Working knowledgeand understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Understanding ofleases, contracts and related documents.

  • Scope ofResponsibility

  • Decisions made within-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies andbusiness practices to achieve complex results.

  • Responsible forsetting project, department and/or division goals. Errors in judgment may causelong-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.

  • Responsible forpersonal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your work. Thisincludes but is not limited to:

  • Finish the assignedHealth and Safety training at a satisfactory level

  • Follow all activitypolicies and procedures, including all Safety-related requirements at alltimes,

  • Participate in allSafety-related programs & activities, including incident investigations,interviews, auditing and assessment, etc.

  • Report anyconditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and / or stopwork if required.

Asa Manager:

  • While adhering toall Health and Safety requirements established for CBRE employees, supervisorsand managers are additionally required to:

  • Provide sufficientdistraction-free time for employees to finish the required Safety training& support training program implicitly

  • Investigate andresolve (if possible) all reported unsafe conditions / acts and communicateresults back to the affected stakeholders,

  • Support \"stopwork\" authority when it is exercised in good faith,

  • Communicates any /all potential workplace hazards and workplace procedures.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Regional Maintenance Manager position is $185,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the Regional Maintenance Manager position is $210,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
