Job description
Mission :
Provide on-site support at the Airframer Final Assembly Line in Hamburg on landing gears, wheels and brakes systems/equipment during aircrafts development, assembly and flight test.
Role & responsibilities :
As a Service Engineer, your main task will be to prepare, perform and record intervention on the Aircraft such as:
Correction of any defect or damage reported by the Customer
Embodiment of design change or specific upgrades
You will represent Safran Landing Systems by our customer and deliver a professional corporate image in line with Safran company standards.
You will be part of a team of 12 Service engineers working in a 2 shifts systems, reporting to the SLS Hamburg FAL manager and located close to our customers facilities.
Your scope of activity will be a mix of activities between
Our offices (check drawing or documentation, record / archive the details of the interventions, reporting to our home base & production site, …)
Our Workshop (spare parts, chemicals, tools management, …)
Physical intervention on Aircraft (part replacement, paint repair, troubleshooting, …)
But what else? (advantages, specificities, etc.)
On call week end
2-shifts organization
Occasional Trips (one or two per year)
Candidate skills & requirements
Short experience as Aircraft technician or in a similar position
Good knowledge on Mechanical & hydraulics products
