About the role
As a Performance & Digital Activation Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of our Digital Media campaigns. You will dive into data, uncover insights, and transform performance results into strategic actions that elevate ROI across multiple markets for our brands in DACH & Nordics.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring every activation is optimized, impactful, and fully aligned with our business and marketing goals.
Your responsibilities
Working closely with the Media & Digital Strategy Managers you will be central to the execution and continuous improvement of our brands digital media activities. You’ll:
Be responsible for the on-going execution of all digital media plans ensuring that they deliver adequately against the business, marketing and media objectives
Advise on digital channel mix and design customer journey’s by touchpoints
Localise and implement digital measurement methodology against KPIs defined for each step of the Marketing funnel
Drive data visualisation and facilitate access to insight through campaign data
Before each activation:
Translate the communication objective into the right set of media & conversion KPIs
Maximize use of 1st party (including web analytics and CRM segments), 2nd and 3rd party data for building the targeted audience segments
Ensure technical tracking is set up
During the activation:
Monitor daily the performance of creative messages, audiences, touchpoint, destination content, retargeting, frequency caps, viewability, etc.
Advise ongoing optimizations during campaigns
Develop and maintain a performance dashboard
After the activation:
Collaborate with the media agency and content creators to identify factors driving campaign KPIs performance
Tell the story behind the data to non-technical team members and communicate findings to diverse stakeholders
Fuel data to the business insights team that will help better understand the drivers of business performance
Drive the effort to improve the performance of all digital activations
Distil best practices and insights from activity
The experience we're looking for
3+ years working experience in a media agency and/or company in the digital economy or FMCG company in a similar function
Fluency in English
Familiarity with DV360
savvy and knowledgeable about current digital trends, innovations, and best practices
profound knowledge of the digital market, budget, and planning, buying and research
is aware of the KPI’s needed to measure digital effectiveness; can turn this into a workable success model and adapt accordingly to the market’s individual requirements
solid understanding of research tools
ability to shift gears from working on strategic elements to rolling up sleeves and getting in the detail and in the trenches
strong organisation skills and attention to detail
superior working knowledge of digital tools like Ad Serving, Ad Verification, Ad Tracking and Google Analytics
Able to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment and independently
Personal Skills:
Logical with excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Organised and highly numerate
Results-orientated and entrepreneurial
Prioritises the things with the biggest impact
Skills in data analysis and report building using reporting tools
Passionate about data and detailed accuracy

Nice to have:
Fluency in German
Additional digital certificates or qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, Media Management, and/or Digital Communication
