Yield Technology Group (YTG)

Yield Technology Group is a core business unit in Applied Display Group ,focused on enabling customer yield, productivity, and manufacturing velocity through E‑beam I&M yield management solutions. YTG plays a critical role across Display, advanced packaging industry by helping customers rapidly identify, diagnose, and resolve yield‑limiting issues, accelerating the conversion from defect detection to process optimization. Beyond tools, YTG delivers integrated yield capabilities by combining hardware, data, automation, and AI‑enabled workflows to shorten problem‑solving cycles, improve fab efficiency, and support customers at key technology and architecture inflection points, while driving scalable and profitable growth for the business. **

Key Responsibilities

through in-depth understanding of customer technologies and critical gaps and work throughout the work cycle until the implementation of the solution

Technically leads difficult, complex application activities and team

Leads the execution teams ß-sites, evaluation and demos at customers site, through high involvement in the SOW and commitment schedule

Interfaces with the customer regarding technical requirements analysis and schedule

Define/approve Product application support plans for installation

Create & Lead new methodologies in order to optimized system performance for specific application

Analysis, Develop and Transfer new application capabilities in the system envelope from product division to customer application support team

Lead customer Technical review meetings

Requirement

• 3+ years of working experience in semi/display industry

• Customer facing and project management experience

• Knowledge of ebeam and inspection technology

• Flexible on business travel. Travel Rate: < 40%

• Good English communication and presentation skill

This role serves as a BU Application Engineer reporting to YTG BU Product Marketing, with primary responsibility for driving new product and technology penetration. Key responsibilities include solution validation, value proposition , and execution of evaluation tools to accelerate the conversion from DTOR to PTOR. The position provides technical support for new customer engagements in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams, including demo coordination and alignment on critical performance specifications. The role requires close collaboration with both field organizations and HQ R&D teams to ensure effective execution and feedback. The initial scope focuses on key Display customers in China, with expansion to China advanced packaging customers, including PLP and WLP applications.
