MiniMed Logistics Supervisor in Heerlen, Netherlands

About the Role

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee a team of support staff to ensure the efficient flow of raw materials, finished goods, services, and information from origin to customer. You will manage day-to-day logistics operations, coach and develop your team, and support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards for customer service and operational excellence. This role combines hands-on execution with people management responsibilities, ensuring your team meets departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control and manage the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to manufacturing sites and customers.

  • Ensure execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, including replenishment systems, demand management, and electronic data systems.

  • Meet customer service and timing objectives within financial constraints.

  • Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve delivery issues.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of support staff, providing day-to-day direction, performance guidance, and feedback.

  • Plan operational objectives, allocate resources, and maintain steady workflow and productivity.

  • Recommend process improvements and adjustments to enhance team performance and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • First-level supervisor with experience managing teams of production, technician, or clerical staff.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational skills.

  • Effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with coaching and team development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma, or equivalent with 5+ years relevant experience in Supply Chain/LogisticsOR

  • Associate’s Degree with 3+ years experience OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ year experience.
