Job Description 1. JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Quality Engineer Reports to: Quality Manager or in accordance with the organizational chart. JOB OBJECTIVE: • Develop and implement robust quality control systems that minimize defects and maximize production efficiency. • Interpret and enforce quality assurance standards across the entire production process. • Conduct thorough inspections and testing to verify product conformance with specifications. 4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description • Manage the APQP / PPAP / FAI / FAT quality requirements. • Review and verify all quality documentation associated with the shipment of Finished Goods • Monitor results of Incoming Inspections • SME for Product Quality Requirements • Develop, Implement and Maintain Receiving Inspection Plans • Manage and conduct control plan audits of the facility • Knowledgeable of the APQP / PPAP process • Direct Quality Contact for Customers • Understand and Interpret GD&T • Work directly with Design Engineering and Program Management to: o Develop Quality Standards o Determine if specifications meet expectations o Ensure that manufacturing methods can meet quality expectations o Develop Incoming, In Process and Final Inspection requirements and methods • Develop and provide oversight and direction for Quality Lead. • Back up for Quality Manager. • Any and all other duties as deemed necessary for the functioning of the department. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Qualifications / Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a quality engineer, preferred. • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 stan
