Job Description 1. JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Quality Engineer Reports to: Quality Manager or in accordance with the organizational chart. JOB OBJECTIVE: • Develop and implement robust quality control systems that minimize defects and maximize production efficiency. • Interpret and enforce quality assurance standards across the entire production process. • Conduct thorough inspections and testing to verify product conformance with specifications. 4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description • Manage the APQP / PPAP / FAI / FAT quality requirements. • Review and verify all quality documentation associated with the shipment of Finished Goods • Monitor results of Incoming Inspections • SME for Product Quality Requirements • Develop, Implement and Maintain Receiving Inspection Plans • Manage and conduct control plan audits of the facility • Knowledgeable of the APQP / PPAP process • Direct Quality Contact for Customers • Understand and Interpret GD&T • Work directly with Design Engineering and Program Management to: o Develop Quality Standards o Determine if specifications meet expectations o Ensure that manufacturing methods can meet quality expectations o Develop Incoming, In Process and Final Inspection requirements and methods • Develop and provide oversight and direction for Quality Lead. • Back up for Quality Manager. • Any and all other duties as deemed necessary for the functioning of the department. Follow all safety rules and guidelines: Required Personal Protective Equipment: Optional Personal Protective Equipment: • Ear plugs • ANSI approved full face shields. • ANSI approved safety glasses. • 3M 6200 Half-Face Respirator. • ASTM 2413-11 or ASTM 2413-18 protective footwear. • KN95 face masks. • Aprons and Tyvek or ANSI/ISEA arm Sleeves. • Noise canceling headphones. • ANSI approved eye goggles. **Additional PPE may be required and offered. • Cut resistant gloves. 6. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: • Scrap <.5% of sales • 100% compliance to internal audit schedule • 100% customer satisfaction regarding product and documentation requirements • Maintain AS Certificate Human Resources Department Revision: NR Page 3 of 5 8. JOB CONTEXT / FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY: Responsibility and authority: • Signatures of purchase orders in line with Authority matrix of Integris. Limitations in authority: • No approval to discuss/talk to press agencies, etc. without prior written authorization from Group Director. Replacement/Substitute: • To be decided on a case-to-case basis. 9. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Qualifications / Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a quality engineer, preferred. • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 stan
