Perma-Pipe in Hebron, OH is looking for Forklift & Overhead Crane Operators

The Forklift & Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and overhead cranes to move, load, unload, and stage materials within a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role supports production and shipping operations by ensuring materials are transported efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

The role is situated in Hebron, OH and is not a remote or hybrid position.

Qualifications

Essential Job Functions

[Material Handling & Equipment Operation]{.underline}

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to transport raw materials and finished goods.
• Operate overhead cranes and hoists to lift, position, and move heavy materials safely.
• Stage materials for production lines to ensure continuous workflow.

[Shipping, Receiving & Logistics]{.underline}

• Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are properly secured and documented.
• Assist with timely delivery of materials to production and shipping areas.
• Support inventory control, material tracking, and proper storage practices.

[Safety & Compliance]{.underline}

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies, including lockout/tagout and rigging procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

[General Warehouse & Production Support]{.underline}

• Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency and workflow.
