Aerotek B-Shift Rework in Hebron, Kentucky
Rework Operator
Join our dedicated team where you will perform essential packaging and logistics tasks during the B-Shift from 6pm to 6:15am, Saturday through Tuesday. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance to a Slitter Operator position, enhancing your career in a growing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform packaging of products for shipment.
Operate RF scanners to track products within the warehouse.
Execute shipping and receiving functions.
As a Slitter Operator, read and interpret bills of materials, perform machine set-ups, and thread film into machines.
Set machine blades to the correct width and program the machine for length, speed, and tension.
Set up the leader table with appropriate tapes, leaders, and trailers, and retrieve correct cores from inventory.
Conduct basic troubleshooting of machinery, including adjusting speed, winding tension, and brake tension.
Recover film breaks by stopping the machine, cutting broken film, and re-threading machines.
Complete quality checks using calipers.
Essential Skills
Experience in assembly, kitting, and packing.
Manufacturing experience.
Reliability and strong work ethic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
General labor and production skills.
Experience with labeling, assembly line, and machine operation.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The dress code includes steel toe boots, blue jeans or Cintas pants without holes, and a solid-colored shirt. Shorts are also acceptable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.
