Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor
Location: Heber, UT
Status: Part-Time
Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. or Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Pay/Salary: $31.00–$35.00

What You'll Do:
As an Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor, you will help aspiring electricians build a strong foundation through hands-on teaching and mentorship. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab settings.
Supporting student growth through mentoring, regular feedback, and individualized success planning.
Ensuring your curriculum stays current and aligned with real industry expectations.
Partnering with fellow instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain a high-quality learning experience.
Leading by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness.
Actively participating in program development, accreditation efforts, employer advisory committees, and campus-wide events.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:
Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
Industry Credentials & Certifications: Must hold a current Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in the electrical field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Experience with Canvas and curriculum development is a plus.
Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in communication, time management, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities.
Attention to Detail: A keen ability to assess student performance, ensure industry standards are met, and maintain accurate records.
